ARW Blogging Assignment 5 (OMS)
The main characters in Old Man and the Sea are Santiago, a fisherman and Manolin, a boy who helps him. Three adjectives that describe Santiago are passionate, inpatient, and humble. First, he has passion of getting big fish though he is old, so he is passionate. Second, he endured even he hadn't fished for 87 days, so he is inpatient. Third, he didn't mind that his pride was damaged and got sardines from boy. He leaned humility naturally, so he is humble. Two adjectives that describe Manolin are curious and kind. First, he said that he wanted to go to the sea with old man though his parents didn't permit him to do. And fishing is sometimes dangerous, but he requested old man to took him to the sea. So, he is curious. Second, it was kind of him to spread blanket over the sleeping old man and to help him with preparation of fishing. He also cared about the old man, calling to go to the bed early and asking whether he had finished eating. So, he is kind.
